Mitä työ pitää sisällään?

• Asiakkaiden tervehtiminen

• Lämpimien varusteiden jakaminen asiakkaille ja turvallisuusohjeiden läpikäynti

• Ulkoaktiviteettien ja retkien vetäminen asiakkaiden taitotason mukaan

• Asiakkaiden turvallisuuden ja viihtyvyyden varmistaminen sekä ensiavun antaminen tarvittaessa

• Paikallisen luonnon, eläimistön, maantieteen ja kulttuurin tuntemuksen jakaminen

• Erätaitojen opettaminen asiakkaille

• Revontulien valokuvaaminen asiakkaiden kanssa

• Yrityksen turvallisuusohjeiden ja toimintaperiaatteiden noudattaminen

• Kaluston ja varusteiden huolto sekä safaritalon siisteydestä huolehtiminen

• Mahdollisten vahinkojen ja onnettomuuksien raportointi

• Kokemusta eräoppaan työstä tai vastaavasta roolista

• Voimassa olevaa B-ajokorttia

• Sujuvaa englannin kielen taitoa (suullinen ja kirjallinen)

• Ensiaputodistusta

• Joustavuutta – työ sisältää ilta-, viikonloppu- ja pyhävuoroja

Työn kesto, palkka ja edut:

• Työ alkaa Loka/Marraskuussa Työ päättyy Maaliskuussa

• Työaika 120h/3vko

• Palkka sijoittuu välille 2236 - 2494e/kk kokemuksen ja osaamisen perusteella + tes lisät

• Muut edut työehtosopimuksen mukaan

• Tarvittaessa tarjoamme majoituksen jaetussa huoneessa hintaan 300 €/kk

Wilderness Guide Position Now Available at Northern Lights Village Saariselkä!

About the Role

We are seeking for outgoing Wilderness Guides with a cheery personality to join our company. This position is perfect for people with a passion for nature, outdoors, and adventure, to grow their career at the Northern Lights Village

Key Responsibilities

• Greeting customers and providing excellent customer service

• Offering thermal clothing, giving instructions and briefing guests about activities

• Leading outdoor activities and excursions, tailored to the guests' interests and level of experience

• Ensuring the safety and comfort of all participants, providing first aid assistance if needed

• Sharing extensive knowledge of the local flora, fauna, geography, and culture

• Teaching essential wilderness survival skills

• Photographing northern lights with guests

• Following company policies and procedures

• Ability to work independently, and as a team

• Maintaining and caring for outdoor gear and equipment, as well as cleanliness of the safari house

• Reporting possible damages and / or accidents

Requirements

• Experience as a wilderness guide or in a similar role

• Valid B drivers’ license

• Fluent written and spoken English

• First Aid certificate

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

• Ability to work outdoors, in cold temperatures

• Friendly personality

• Knowledge of Finnish Lapland

Desirable Qualifications

• Training in wilderness education or related field

• Photography skills

• Previous customer service experience

• Other language skills in addition to English

• Start: October/November End: March/April

• Working hours: 120h / 3 weeks

• Salary ranges between €2236–2494/month depending on experience and skills + collective agreement supplements

• Other benefits according to the collective labor agreement

• If necessary, the resort provides accommodation in a shared room for €300,00/month
