About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and friendly Night Receptionist to become part of our dynamic team. This role is ideal for individuals who excel at customer service and wish to work in a unique environment, contributing to the unforgettable experiences of our guests at the Northern Lights Village.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcoming guests and providing exceptional customer service

• Handling check-ins and check-outs efficiently

• Answering guests' queries and providing information about local attractions and activities

• Managing bookings and reservations

• Ensuring the reception area is tidy and well-organized

• Preparing reports and other administrative tasks

• Keeping common areas of reception and restaurant tidy

• Auditing accounting reports

Requirements

• 1 or more years of experience in a hotel receptionist role

• Fluent written and spoken English

• Finnish alcohol passport

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Good organizational and multitasking abilities

• Knowledge of property management systems

• High level of professionalism and a friendly demeanour

Desirable Qualifications

• First Aid Certificate

• Knowledge of local area

• Additional language skills 

• Valid B drivers’ license

Pay, Duration and Benefits

• Start: October/November End: March

• Minimum 90 working hours per 3 weeks period

• Hourly pay negotiated in an interview, according to knowledge and experience

• Other benefits according to the collective labor agreement

• If necessary, the resort provides accommodation in a shared room for €300,00/month

Ensimmäinen Northern Lights Villagen resort avattiin vuonna 2016. Levin resort on tarjonnut uniikkeja majoitusvaihtoehtoja revontulikotien muodossa vuodesta 2019. Lisäksi palveluvalikoimaamme kuuluvat ravintola, saunat, safaritalo sekä monipuoliset ohjelmat.

Työn kuvaus

• Vastaanottaa asiakkaat lämpimästi ja varmistaa, että he saavat henkilökohtaista palvelua

• Hallinnoi varauksia ja tarkastaa raportteja

• Hoitaa tehokkaasti sisään- ja uloskirjautumisprosessit

• Vastailee vieraiden kysymyksiin ja antaa tietoa paikallisista nähtävyyksistä ja aktiviteeteista

• Varmistaa vastaanottoalueen siisteyden ja järjestyksen

Vaatimukset:

1. Vähintään 1 vuoden kokemus hotellin vastaanottovirkailijana tai vastaavassa roolissa

2. Sujuva suullinen ja kirjallinen englanti

3. Erinomaiset viestintä- ja vuorovaikutustaidot

4. Kyky työskennellä tehokkaasti sekä itsenäisesti että tiimissä

5. Vahvat organisointitaidot ja kyky tehdä useita asioita samanaikaisesti

6. Kokemusta hotellijärjestelmistä

7. Voimassa oleva B-ajokortti

Palkka ja työnkesto

• Työ alkaa lokakuussa / marraskuussa ja päättyy maaliskuussa / Huhtikuussa

• Vähintään 90 työtuntia 3 viikon jaksossa

• Tuntipalkka neuvotellaan haastattelussa osaamisen ja kokemuksen mukaan

• Tarvittaessa tarjoamme majoituksen jaetussa huoneessa 300€ /kk
